Flight rules to France

Dear passengers,

Starting from January 31, 2021, France has closed its borders to travel from/to countries outside the European area, with the exception of the following categories of persons and compelling reasons.

Persons traveling to France must meet the following conditions:

  • belong to the category of travelers permitted to enter France from outside the European area (the categories are indicated on the first page of the declaration below)
  • present supporting documents regarding the compelling reason for travel (supporting documents are indicated in the declaration below)
  • present a negative RT PCR COVID-19 test result, performed no earlier than 72 hours prior to arrival in France (for persons over 11 years old). The test is only accepted in English/French.
  • complete a sworn declaration certifying the absence of Covid symptoms and a commitment to undergo a possible antigen test/medical examination upon arrival in France, as well as a commitment to self-isolate for 7 days (self-isolation in facilities indicated by the French authorities is not excluded), and to perform a PCR test at the end of the isolation period

Passengers who do not present a negative RT PCR COVID-19 test result will not be admitted to the flight. Without a test, only passengers who present a letter of exemption regarding the test received from the French embassy can be accepted.

Furthermore, passengers must complete and sign the following declarations, which they will present in printed form at check-in/boarding at the airport, as well as to the French authorities upon arrival:

  • for EU citizens (including French citizens): File 1 (ENG), File 1 (FRA)
  • for non-EU citizens: File 2 (ENG), File 2 (FRA)
