Entry rules for the Republic of Moldova

Dear passengers,

We inform you that by the decision of the National Extraordinary Public Health Commission, new restrictions on entry into the Republic of Moldova are introduced, starting from March 5, 2021.

Passengers crossing the border of the Republic of Moldova upon entry must present a negative COVID-19 PCR test result (in the state language of the RM, Russian, English, or French), performed within 72 hours prior to arrival.

Exceptions: children up to 5 years old, drivers of road vehicles for freight transport and paid passenger transport, crews and service personnel of aircraft/ships and crews and service personnel of train sets, members of delegations, cross-border workers, athletes, transit passengers, and those who hold a confirmatory document of vaccine administration, as well as many others. Also, passengers who do not present a negative COVID-19 PCR test or passengers who are not included in the list of exceptions above will be required to complete a self-isolation declaration for a period of 14 days, regardless of the point of arrival.

In all other cases, the self-isolation regime can be discontinued after 10 days in the event of a negative COVID-19 PCR test.

Passengers arriving in the Republic of Moldova must complete the epidemiological card.
